Four part workshop series that brings the harvest to your plate

TESTIMONIAL: Potato Fusion Workshop

My kids and I attended the Potato Fusion workshop together this spring.  It was a great experience for them to see the urban garden and they still point it out when we drive by in the car.  They enjoyed planting their potatoes and shovelling the soil, but I’m pretty sure they will enjoy eating the fresh potatoes the most!  It’s been very exciting watching the potatoes grow like weeds and having my son yell out when he is in our garden, “Another one popped up, we better cover it with soil!”  When I explained the process to our new neighbour and told him that he could share in our harvest this fall,  he said, “We’ve got a deep fryer; we can make french fries!”  It make me realize how great it is to grow your own food and then share your experiences and your wares with the neighbourhood.
