This thoughtful event includes the film screening of The Apple Pushers, a live auction, prizes, guest speakers, gift bags, local farmers and food cart vendors. A GREEN’S HOLIDAY EVENT. Thursday, December 8th @ Green’s Organic & Natural Market, 1978 W. Broadway. Join us at Green’s to celebrate the best part about the holiday’s: the food. This thoughtful evening features the screening of the award-winning film, Queen of the Sun. Upon arriving, our guests will be filled with food and drink, have an opportunity to speak with folks in our community working with bees, pollination, etc., and then settle down in the theatre for some great speakers, a great film (8pm), and then leave with a very sweeeeet gift bag full of goodies! APRIL
The World in a Garden is hosting URBAN IMPACTS – An Earth Day Celebration of all Things Green, on Saturday April 17th, 2010.
In Collaboration with Choices Market and Growing City we have a full day of activities planned. Located at 1188 West 57th (@ East Blvd., across the street from the garden), Choices is celebrating Earth Day with a BBQ and all proceeds will be donated to our garden. Growing City will also be joining us with their creative fundraising program, Profile Pics for Peace, where you can come get your personal or family garden themed picture by donation along with a scheduled garden tour.

Hi WIAG,
I would very much like to learn how to fuse potatoes with lettuce; but I can’t this weekend. Would you please let me know if you have repeat or similar workshops? I also see you sell potato fusion kits with instructions. How much to order one?

Hi Damian,
The next workshop will not be until next year when it’s time to plant potatoes again, however, you can still order the “kit” for $12. Email us to order before April 1st and we will get you set up.
