This Earth Day Plant the Seeds of Change, Make a World of Difference

Earth Day (and every day)   is a celebration of the bounty Mother Earth provides  – and we need to help her do it well!

Whether we are planting vegetables, cleaning up our streets, conserving water, or biking to work, we are contributing to a better planet and a healthier you!

Together, let’s take a day to celebrate the impacts of urban agriculture, local food and responsible & ethical business here in Vancouver! The World In A Garden will be holding an Earth Day Celebration of All Things Green with our friends from the community THIS Saturday, April 23rd, 12pm-4pm.

We will be joined by our friends at Growing City, MyGardenBag.com & Choices Market, who support The World In A Garden’s ongoing efforts to green Vancouver and create a more sustainable tomorrow. The garden will be open to neighbours and friends for a garden tour, garden planting, soil spreading, a BBQ hosted by Choices and a KALE SALE (fresh, sweet kale straight from the garden ground). Trust us, you’re going to want to get your hands on some of this delicious kale before it disappears! We’ll even give you the best kale chip recipe ever! And if you’re still not sold, we’ll be offering you dessert instead, with our annual RASPBERRY PLANT Sale. You might even be lucky and get our exotic  Golden Fall variety that always receives  raving reviews 🙂

Individuals and families of ALL AGES are welcome! If you’re interested in this event, please RSVP to Alicia at 604.257.5151 ext. 213 or abaddorf@jfsa.ca.

We look forward to seeing you there!
